Out of The Ashes, The Pheonix Rises!
A few weeks ago, on a Monday I went to my favorite coffee shop Rocket Rush only to find that the whole place was closed down, it was the worst Monday ever. Not only did this mean that there was no coffee for the start of my day, it seemed that finding a good cup of joe was now my new quest. {side note there is a Starbucks right down the road but the three times I have had coffee there it tasted burnt, kind of a cross between a charcoal briquette and a bottle of liquid smoke, one barista said “that’s how dark roast coffee should taste” I don’t know a lot, but I do know how dark roast coffee should taste, and how it should not taste. If your coffee tastes like a charcoal briquette and liquid smoke it is time to find a new coffee shop}Moving on.
As I was saying my Phavorite coffee shop was closed. What was I to do? Well for the moment, I had to make my own cup of coffee at the office… how primitive.
Then it happened…As I drove by I saw a familiar red car in the parking lot and a few others. could it be? could Rocket Rush be opened again? oh I could only hope! But to my surprise and to the delight of my palette…
Out of the ashes of my phavorite coffee shop closing, rising up like the phoenix… emerges Hastings Coffee & Tea Company. Now typically in the business world, when one company shuts down and another takes its place, there are many factors, new name, new menu, new employees,new signs, new product, new prices {usually higher to compensate for all the changes}
OH but not here, same great product, same great price, same great staff, same great style of friendliness and most of all knowing exactly how I like my coffee. One of the great things about being a customer at Hastings is that no matter who you are after a few visits they know what you like and how you like it, and that makes a great cup of coffee even better. Not just for me, but for all of the customers.
Bethany is the new owner of Hastings Coffee and Tea Co. stop by and see her and the rest of the Hastings crew if your in Huntsville, if you live here stop by and visit often. Tell them Phatrok sent you, Bethany best of luck with your new business, congratulations on your recent engagement.
and thanks for the GREAT COFFEE! your crew Roks!
