Wow

This week i am at the CIY move conference in Cleveland TN.
If you have never heard of CIY or are not sure what CIY or MOVE is about, you can check out their website www.ciy.com
CIY is an abbreviation for Christ in Youth, they are a christian organization that has been directing young people to Jesus Christ for years, and they do a good job of it. Typically a week long conference at CIY starts out good and ends great. I have been to CIY eighteen times in my life, and every year I leave saying I don’t know how they are going to improve on what I just witnessed, and experienced through the eyes of the teenagers that have been part of the conference. But every year they seem to take it up notch.
Not in performance and craziness and stuff, but in taking God and making Him real and challenging the youth of America to live like He is real. And the youth of America are responding in a big way.
I said all of that to say the following…

The focal point for the week is SOMETHING BIGGER. It is a challenge to realize that we are part of something bigger. Usually at a CIY conference, particularly MOVE there is a progression that happens each day and by day three or four, young people have been challenged and broken and are just putting themselves out there for God so to speak.
One of my teen age boys in the group I am with said last night… “usually the last few nights of CIY are intense, but they started out the week in a big way, I know God is here and He has a plan for me.”

And that’s what I want everyone who reads this blog to know, God has a plan for you and He wants to move in you in a big way.
